Посредством логистической функции смоделирован ее рост в течение года. Показано, что в южных районах обитания треска растет значительно быстрее. Наиболее интенсивный линейный рост трески происходит в первые три месяца жизни, когда длина личинок и мальков увеличивается примерно на 50 % ежемесячно. К осени и зиме относительные приросты снижаются. В абсолютном выражении приращения длины нарастают в первую половину года, достигая пика во второй половине лета — первой половине осени. В этот период длина рыб увеличивается на 25–30 мм в месяц. В оставшуюся часть года значения абсолютных приростов снижаются. Характер весового роста заметно отличается от линейного. В течение первого полугодия у молоди трески весовой рост наиболее интенсивен и значительно превосходит линейный. За этот период относительные ежемесячные приросты массы изменяются от 142 до 85 %, постепенно уменьшаясь от первого месяца жизни к шестому. После чего, при достижении массы около 4 г, относительный темп весового роста резко снижается, при этом существенно увеличиваются абсолютные приросты. Максимальные приращения массы (8–10 г) приходятся на седьмой-девятый месяцы жизни трески, когда рыбы достигают длины более 10 см. За этот короткий промежуток треска набирает 58 % массы первого года жизни. Пики линейных и весовых приростов не совпадают по времени и смещены примерно на 2 мес. относительно друг друга – максимальные приращения длины приурочены к шестому месяцу жизни, а массы – к восьмому.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Data of observations and published materials on linear and weight growth of pacific cod in the first year of life are analyzed for different habitats. The growth curve is approximated by logistic function. Monthly increments for the body length of larvae and fry are about 50 % in the first three months of life, when growth is the most intense. Absolute length increments increase in the first half of the year and reach the maximum of 25-30 mm per month in late summer — early autumn, then decrease in the rest of the year. Relative body length increments decrease in autumn and winter, too. The cod grow faster in southern areas. Weight growth patterns are different from the linear growth. The weight growth is the most intense in the first half of year, when relative weight increments exceed significantly the length increments — monthly weight increments decrease gradually form 142 % in the first month of life to 85 % in the sixth month. When the weight reaches app. 4 g, the relative weight increments decrease abruptly though the absolute increments continue to increase until the 7–9th months of life when they reach 8–10 g per month for fish with body length &gt; 10 cm. The cod weight increases by 58 % in this short period of the highest growth.
