Для сеголеток использовался комбинированный метод выращивания в бассейнах, тепловодных мальковых прудах и садках. Двухлеток и трехлеток содержали только в садках и кормили живой и неживой малоценной кормовой рыбой. Часть двухлеток пытались приучить к потреблению влажных искусственных гранул. К концу опыта трехлетки китайского окуня двух размерных групп имели массу тела 700−880 г при максимуме 1600 г. Кормовые затраты на приросты двухлеток и трехлеток за вегетационные сезоны варьировали соответственно от от 2,7 до 3,9 и от 5,3 до 5,6 кг/кг прироста при выживаемости 98−100 %. В нерестовой кампании 2023 г. впервые использовали двухгодовалых производителей китайского окуня массой 0,5−1,1 кг, от которых вырастили сеголеток средней массой 60 г.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>A breeding stock of chinese perch was gotten in a warm-water farm located in the southern Far East of Russia, where the experiment is conducted on growing this species up to three years. Combined method of growing in tanks, warm-water fry ponds and cages was used for growing the fingerlings, but two- and three-year old perches were kept in cages only and fed with live and non-living low-value forage fish. There were attempts to train two-year-old perch to feed on wet artificial pellets. By the end of the experiment, three-year-old chinese perches of two size groups had the body weight of 700−880 g with the maximum of 1600 g. Feed costs for the growth of two- and three-year-old fish in the growing seasons were 2.7−3.9 and 5.3−5.6 kg per 1 kg gain, respectively; their survival was 98−100 %.
